The Aqualung Axiom i3 BCD is exceptionally easy to use and is packed full of features for the serious diver. i3 technology allows precise buoyancy control.
The Aqualung Axiom i3 BCD is Aqualung's most comfortable and easy-to-use BCD yet. Featuring the i3 control system which replaces the traditional over the shoulder inflation an deflation hose. Buoyancy is controlled using an easy to operate lever on the left side of the BCD, by pulling the lever up the BCD inflates, pull down at it deflates. The beauty of this system is that it cannot get lost, it will always be in the same position allowing for true muscle memory. This reduces the chance of uncontrolled rapid ascents and ensures rapid inflation at the surface in case of emergency. In case of failure a neatly hidden oral inflater still allows easy buoyancy control. The Axiom BCD features a Wrapture harness system which redistributes weight better for superior comfort, shoulder swivel buckles ensure that the shoulder straps fit perfectly every time. A PowerGrip tank band and buckle provides a strong and secure attachment of your cylinder and is extremely easy to use. The Axiom i3 BCD features integrated weighting in the form of SureLock II weight pouches, which provide a single pull released to establish positive buoyancy.
